Junior/Senior RFIC Design Engineer

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop RFIC Circuits
Design RFIC blocks such as LNAs, PAs, VCOs, frequency dividers, frequency multipliers, mixers, variable-gain amplifiers, phase shifters, switches, and passive structures. Work with silicon-based technologies (CMOS/BiCMOS) for frequencies ranging from 3 GHz to 300 GHz.
- Analog and Digital Circuit Design
Create basic analog and digital circuits such as bandgap references, temperature sensors, PTAT/CTAT voltage/current references, baseband IF amplifiers, digital logics, and SPI interface circuits, including their layout implementation.
- Documentation and Reporting
Prepare comprehensive design documentation and project reports, and present your work to the team.
- Testing and Validation
Use RF measurement equipment to test and validate circuit performance. Troubleshoot and resolve design issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Junior Level
At least 1 year of experience in RFIC design (academic and/or industrial), with basic knowledge of EDA tools like ADS, EMX, Sonnet, RFPro, Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens Custom IC, HFSS, CST or Empire XPU.
- Senior Level
At least 4 years of experience in RFIC design (academic and/or industrial), with strong expertise in EDA tools like ADS, EMX, Sonnet, RFPro, Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens Custom IC, HFSS, CST or Empire XPU.
- Technical Skills
Experience in designing RF circuits and a solid understanding of the theoretical aspects of RF blocks and systems.
- Language Skills
Proficient in English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is a plus.
